Severn Bites is run by Danielle Ellis. My first love is bread baking. I trained professionally in France and run a range of baking courses. Severn Bites features recipes I have developed; tips for breadbakers; reviews of products, books and restaurants and food vacations.
I’ve been blogging since 2010. Firstly, as Edinburgh Foody in Edinburgh Scotland, creating close to 300 blog posts: growing a following on Twitter to more than 16,000 and producing a successful twice-monthly newsletter. I worked with many well known brands and PR companies across Scotland and the UK. I created Severn Bites in the summer of 2016 upon moving to Gloucestershire.

I was named Winner in the World Sloe Gin Championships for 2016 and 2018 and awarded a Bronze award in the World Bread Awards for my Almond Babka
I have appeared on BBC Gloucester Radio demonstrating and making bread and pastry.
